Hallux valgus refers to the outward deviation of the big toe, with a prominent bony protrusion at the base of the big toe, also known as a bunion. Hallux valgus is commonly seen in individuals with flat feet, those who wear shoes with narrow or tight toe boxes, those who wear shoes that are too small, and those who frequently wear high heels or practice ballet.

Exercises to Improve Hallux Valgus

深層腳部肌肉鍛練. deep foot muscle training

Hallux Valgus Correction Exercises:

Passively open the big toe horizontally, repeat 20 times, then actively open the big toe horizontally, repeat 20 times, perform 2 sets.

Strengthening the deep foot muscles

Place a towel or soft pad on the floor, keeping the heels and toes firmly on the ground, and actively raise the inner arch, holding for 10 seconds, doing 5 reps.

踮腳運動, tip toe exercise

Foot inversion exercises

Actively invert the forefoot, doing 15 reps, 3 sets.

Calf raises

Hold onto a wall or chair, rise up onto the toes, hold for 15 seconds, doing 5 reps.
